If you are planning an open-plan office layout using workstations, there are a few things that will make a big difference to how the space functions day to day:

• Aisle Width – Leave at least 90 cm between workstation clusters for comfortable movement. High-traffic routes near entrances and meeting rooms should be wider.
• Seat-to-Window Ratio – Where possible, orient workstations so employees face away from windows rather than toward them. This reduces screen glare and eye strain significantly.
• Partition Height – Low partitions (60–70 cm) keep the floor feeling open and encourage collaboration. Higher partitions (100–120 cm) provide more focus and privacy for roles that require concentration.

What is the standard desk depth for a workstation seat?

The standard depth we use is 60 cm, which provides comfortable working space for a monitor, keyboard, and documents. We can go up to 75 cm for more space-intensive roles, or as compact as 50 cm where floor space is tight.

Can I add more seats to an existing workstation later?

Yes. Our modular design allows expansion. As long as the original cluster was built with extension in mind, we can add seats to match the existing system without replacing the entire unit.

Do the workstations come with chairs?
